When I moved to Toronto six years ago, I was surprised by all the journalism events in the city. It seemed like something was always going on!
Yet, many of my fellow journalists didn’t know what I was talking about. “How do you hear about all these things?” I kept getting asked. At the time, my answer was, “Um… I spend too much time on the Internet?”
So others wouldn’t miss out, I compiled the first draft of this directory of journalism events in Toronto. Since then, I’ve heard about more events through word of mouth, and the list has grown.
